Andrew, from Wine Aspects, defines himself as a learner by nature and a teacher by profession. Living in the Penedès wine region near Barcelona made it relatively easy for him to enjoy a glass of wine. He didn’t start his journey in the wine industry until 2009 after creating the first of 5 published books, English for Winemakers, a specific wine English course for language learners. He always says that wine is 30% tasting, 30% studying, and 40% talking and listening to professionals in the sector. He has studied in 3 languages at institutions such as UC Davis, INCAVI, WSET, Outlook Wine, The Wine Scholar Guild and ESHOB.
